Greetings from the sunny Yukon! Softball Yukon is pleased to extend an invitation to you to play in the 2008 Dustball Slo-pitch Tournament. This event will be played at the,

PEPSI SOFTBALL CENTRE, Whitehorse, Yukon.

  

Registration will be on a “first come-first served basis”, which will be based upon receipt of the entry fee and a completed registration form. Softball Yukon reserves the right to place teams in an appropriate division of play based on past results from Dustball and current seeding information provided by your local Softball Associations.

  

Dustball 2008 will begin Thursday, July 17, at 6:15 PM., and the final games will be completed by approximately 3:00 PM Sunday, July 20. ALL OUT OF TOWN TEAMS MUST BE READY TO PLAY NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 18, AT 7:00 AM.

 

DIVISIONS:                   Men’s Slo-pitch (A, B, C, & D)

 

                                       Women’s Slo-pitch (A, B, C)

 

                                       Co-Ed Slo-pitch (A, B, C)

FORMAT: 

Men’s “A”   “B”   “C”   “D”

 

·        All Men’s teams will go into pools for seeding

 

The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”

 

The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”

 

The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

 

The fourth team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “D”

 

Women’s “A”   “B”   ”C”

 

·        All Women’s teams will go into pools for seeding

 

The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”

AWARDS:            1ST, 2ND & 3RD  in each division

There will be fifteen prizes awarded to the winning teams in each division                        

DANCE:                Softball Yukon will NOT be hosting a dance for Dustball 2008.  

 

SCHEDULES:     Will be available by Friday, July 11.
