Dustball Information

Greetings from the sunny Yukon! Softball Yukon is pleased to extend an invitation to you to play in the 2010 Dustball Slo-pitch Tournament. This event will be played at the, PEPSI SOFTBALL CENTRE, Whitehorse, Yukon.

Dustball 2010 will be limited to 72 teams, 24 Men's teams, 12 Women's teams and 36 Co-ed teams. As each division is filled a waiting list will be compiled and if a division does not fill efforts will be made to add the teams on the waiting list.

Registration will be on a “first come-first serve basis”, which will be based upon receipt of the entry fee and a completed registration form.

Dustball 2010 will begin Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 6:15 PM., and the final games will be completed by approximately 3:00 PM Sunday, July 11, 2010. ALL OUT OF TOWN TEAMS MUST BE READY TO PLAY NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 9, 2010, at 7:00 AM.

DIVISIONS: Men’s Slo-pitch (A, B, C, & D)

FORMAT:

Men’s “A” “B” “C” “D”

All Men’s teams will go into pools for seeding

The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”

The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”

The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

The fourth team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “D”

Women’s “A” “B” ”C”

All Women’s teams will go into pools for seeding

The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”

The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”

The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

Co-ed “A” “B” “C”

All Co-ed teams will go into pools for seeding

The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”

The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”

The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

NOTE: ALL DIVISIONS WILL PLAY A GUARANTEED FINAL

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION - MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2010

$350.00 per team (Canadian) GST Inc.

$300.00 per team (American) GST Inc.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION - MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, JUNE 18, 2010

$400.00 per team (Canadian) GST Inc.

$350.00 per team (American) GST Inc.

ENTRY FEE MAY BE PAID BY CHEQUE, MONEY ORDER OR CREDIT CARD

(VISA / MC), -DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL.

AWARDS: 1ST, 2ND & 3RD in each division.  There will be fifteen prizes awarded to the winning teams in each division

SCHEDULES: Will be available by Friday, July 2, 2010.

TEAM PACKAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE PEPSI SOFTBALL CENTRE THURSDAY, JULY 8, 2010 AT 5:00 P.M.
